As a citizen of Israel and resident of Tel-Aviv I do not understand how you can travel to Israel and perform while 45 mins from Tel-Aviv family houses are being invaded by the army on a nightly basis, people are being crushed day and night by martial law, my friends are kidnapped from their houses in the middle of the night, their houses broken into, and you go to play a club and perpetuate this ‘oh, it is a conflict, it has two sides’ mantra. did you know that most of the israeli population endorses the government who backs up the settlers in the occupied territories who steal water from nearby villages and in turn pour their sewage there? did you know that people have no water? do you know what it means to have no water? shame on you. would you also go play south Africa in the 70s?

i’d be happy to explain to you the value of boycotting if you intend to just dismiss it as a collective punishment.
